does anyone kno what exactly happens when you are put on reserve list?? do i stand a chance of getting in?? x

Cant believe it, I got in for Adult nursing. Congrats to all who got in, for those who didnt - I'm 39 and didnt think I had a hope in hell, so you have plenty time to apply again - don't give up hope!

Also, just phoned the bursary people, it currently £504 a month, but it may be cut to £430 - decision to be made shortly.

me too... apparently stand a gd chance email to find what position u r in x

emailed them today, i rang first but the lady said they arnt able to discuss details over the phone. havent heard back yet wbu? what do they judge acceptance on now? x

I really dont know, i already have my access from last yr so im not pending grades! They havent replied to me yet.. just waiting patiently!As if we havent waited long enuff lol

I was told that when ur on reserve its for sept or feb intake so we have twice the chance x

hey guys dont be disheartened by a reserve offer. what it means is just say 400 places where available for both sept and feb intake, the top scores in interviews would get conditional offers so they will have to get the grades, pass occupational health and a police check. if they get all these then they are offered a place. but some people dont get the grades needed so they go on the reserve list and then the next in line with the highest interview score get offered a place which is around end of august time, and people also dont accept there offer. i hope this has made things a bit clearer. good luck to u all on the reserve list and well done to those who got a offer.xx

you will be sent out a pack that u have to apply for, it isnt means tested unless u r applying for help with child care which is really only if ur a single parent or if ur partner earns under around £6000. it goes into ur bank monthly aswell

what is the email?
i got reserve list! itleast they have done it this way this year, instead of putting every single person on reserve and then no unsuccesfulls last year! gave people false hope!

fingers crossed. have you heard what position you are yet? wonder how many are on reserve and what kinda chances we stand:/

i thought the reserve list basically meant ur rejected...well stand very little chance :frown:

hey i was wondering is anyone else on the reserve list ? and if we're on this list what do we do about accomodation ? im sure by this stage, and definitly by august, the halls will all be accomodated :s-smilie:

me either, hoping someone on this will have an idea about it, would be while risky waiting till august to even apply?
also, do u know if we go ahead and apply for bursarys or what? im so confused about being on this reserve list aha
