Was trying to be helpful for those on the reserve list and find out what score I got for a conditional offer. Phoned up Queens registry, but they don't give out scores for those with conditional offers.

Have a look at last year though - I think people from the reserve list got in with scores of 18 out of 25. Also, remember that no one knows hoIw many conditional offers have been sent out for the total amount of places.

Don't give up hope - have a look at how surprised some people last year were to get in from the reserve list.

I wonder why they don't give the score of those with offers, is it maybe because some of those on the reserve have the same scores as them?
Did anybody get interview score for learning disability ? I got 32 and was told only 15 on list .
These scores seem low compared to adult nursing. !

Hi I put ld as my 2nd choice (my 1st choice was mental health) but have been told that I would be considered for all branches, thought everyone on reserve list was the same?? Does your reserve state you are on the list for ld? My letter just states nursing xx

From what been said on here I would assume any score over 45 got conditional offers.
Hi Everyone,

I'm applying for medicine in September/October and was just wondering how are the grades different. For medicine you need an average of AAA (including Biology and Chemistry) and either an A or B at AS. What do you need for nursing? Oh and what does everyone think of the question why do you want to be a nurse and not a doctor or vice versa (as in medical interviews that is asked a lot  x

i think the reason they wont give out scores of those with places is because the majority of people with offers are school leavers and it is very doubtful that they all got 45+ in interiews. if this is the case its rather unfair to other applicants xx
Hey just wan't to say they give the places to those with the highest scores whether they be school leavers or mature students!

the reason they won't give out the scores of those with offers is because the people at the top of reserve may have the same score..

I got an offer and I'm 39, so not sure about the majority being school leavers. I am shocked though, cos I dont think i would have scored 45+ in the interview. My other half (a nurse) said i had a better chance because i'm male and slightly older!

Has any one applied for a bursary yet? I recieved the email however I'm goin away mid July and need my passport so is any1 aware of other forms or ID that can be used? Or even if I am waiting til after holiday to fill it in do I need to inform them?
I'm 32 and have a conditional offer and I know of other mature students with conditional offers so its def not all school leavers, I also know a lot of school leavers who didn't even make the reserve list

Who told you this NurseWannabe I dont think they can do this I got a conditional offer for Adult Nursing and 44 out of 50 in my Midwifery apparently there are 42 reserves including myself. Are you a student nurse at the moment?
:-( just another 2 months to wait! :-(

Yes i'm a student nurse at the moment, the reason the people on the reserve list for midwifery have higher scores than for nursing is because there is only 30 places for midwifery and its more competitive (therefore you need a higher score to get in) and 100's of places for adult nursing across sept and feb!

If you are on the reserve for nursing therefore you have a good chance of getting in because there are more places on offer. For midwifery its usually only between 0-3 places that are offered to reserve and some only a week before you start and is usually due to family circumstances (ie pregnancy) and not meeting grades required.

Hope this helps!!

most people with offers are 18 and on here the mature students all seem to be 30+ and the brink of people i spoke to that are on the reserve list are in their twenties!!!! ...alot with very high scores my point is that not all of the school applicants cud not hav possibly got and very high score but they all seem to have offers.. this is just my personal experience though. if some on the reserve list do have the same score and meet criteria the system is very unfair xx
