Does anyone know what financial support is available other than the bursary
Hey everyone,

I'm just wondering if anyone might know how Queens go about this.

What happens if you have received an offer for February intake, and people who have an offer for September do not get their expected exam results, do the reserves get the places of these offers in September? Or do the February intakes get bumped up to September and reserves take Feb intake?

Hi there. As far as im aware and been told before the ones on reserve list will be the ones who recieve the september places.

I take it you got an offer for February?

Also Feb intake arent necessarily lower, so i dont think they would 'bump' you up as such because if you have a feb offer uve already done brilliantly!

hope this helps.
Thanks for replying!

Yeh I have an offer for February :-) I found it strange that the offer wanted me to have 65% overall in my course which I luckily passed :-) I was really suprised that It was 65% when people I knew in my course got offers for September and only needed 60%.
So because of that, I was under the impression that the February intake was for the students who maybe had lower expected exam results? Was really hoping that there was still a chance of starting in September but I am beyond happy to be given the offer for Queens at all!! :-) Just can't wait to start! :-P

That is strange!! I got an offer for Adult nursing in sept and my offer was for 60 too- although on the entry requirments it states it would be 65 for mine. have you other exam results- eg GCSE's?
Yep have all GCSE's. Not sure why it was 65% because on the Queens website it states entry requirement is 60% unless you are taking a course which is none science based and would then be 65%, but I was taking a Science course. Guess we'll never know! :P

I don't know how they could give places based on results when a lot of the results are not even in yet!!

Yeah, its not really fair is it! I also got 39 in my interview but I am waiting for my A-Levels...............
The reason that ppl with lower scores than yourselves are getting offers of reserve first is because they have applied to different branches of nursing. Within each of the branches there is a different reserve list of applicants, some people may have applied for all branches with four preferences but some will have only applied for mental health for example
