So does anyone know from previous years how long after results are verified do the reserved get called? A lady at the registry said prob 18th/19th which seems really close. So if someone does not show up on results day will their place be automatically allocated to someone else? I just thought it would take a week or two for them to sort everything out? Hopefully sooner rather than later :-/

Have you any experince or voluntary work ? Im 19, and just finished level 3 btec h+s care course. Are you thinking of accomodation or anything ? Best of luck

yes iv done lots of volunteering and work as a care assistant. Had work experience through my social care coure too! No i would be travelling up if i was lucky enough to get an offer... was hoping if there was any1 else from the derry area we could car share etc.
Hi everyone, I was wondering what we do for accomodation, I have an offer for Febuary, but I was talking to friends who have been in the Feb intake and it changed to the Sept intake, if we apply for Sept to the nursing halls does that mean we still have to pay the £300?

Hey there, I have been offered a conditional place in mental helath nursing in queens and hopefully start in september. I recieved a letter asking me to attend a medical as I declared I had depression about a year ago. Its was quite severe depression but was caused by a reaction to a bad situation which I have now overcome. I can't explain how passionate I am about this particular branch of nursing and believe that it was my personal experience which edged me towards choosing it. Has anyone been in this situation or even think they may know how it will be handled and if I'll be deemed 'unfit' to carry out the course? I would be SO grateful for any advice etc

Hey, don't wanna get your hopes up, but I REALLY don't think there'll be a problem. As long as your depression is under control, and the fact it was 'situational' is in your favour. You may need a letter from your GP to briefly outline things. Good luck, and try not to worry. x
