Hi! I received a letter a while ago confirming i was feb intake and ive had my police check back and my health check done.. but just wondering do we have to apply for the bursury ourselves through something or is that sorted when we start uni? Just a while back i received an email about one but not sure if it was through queens or what? Is anyone else Adult Nursing Feb intake ? Also no idea what to do about accomodation. Id applied for sept cause at this point i didnt know which intake i was getting then when i heard it was feb the girl gave me my deposit back but said she'd keep my application on hold and i was to ring oct/nov time to see what accomodation was available.. scared theres gonna be nothing left!lol..
got my letter today aswell for sept intake. Heading down on the 4th sept.
Does anybody know if we get the £165 back that we pay for our uniforms? I know in previous years they have got it back in their first bursary installment but it doesnt say anything in my letter about getting it back.

Hey,
I was talking to one of the student advisors the other day and apparently due to cut backs, they are taking away the bursary for books and she thought uniforms too. sorry to be the bearer of bad news!
Congrats to everyone with their places!!! Good luck for September - its literally around the corner now!

Did she mention if the bursary is being cut this year? There was all that talk about it being reduced from £504 a month to £430 a month but I havent heard anything else about it!
Hi im also going to be starting Adult nursing in September and received my letter for enrolment and uniform on the 4th, i thought it was good that we received the first week timetable also, makes it all seem so real now!! anyone else starting Adult in sept?
I'm February intake too; i'v been trying to find out start dates so far i'v been told that term starts 11th feb and induction could be 2 week before that which I think is 28th January.
I met my requirements so at the time they gave me a pack of info im sure many got this, in it was the timetable for induction week, but on Tues and Wed it says see separate timetable, has anyone else got this 'separate timetable'?

thanks for the help. bit of a let down...seems alot of money for uniforms. i bet the books will be expensive aswell. but in getting excited, its not long now until we start.
If any of u have the list of books we need could u post them on here. I'v ask queens for that too but they never emailed me back.
Thanks
Saw on an earlier thread the books from last year. There is also an anatomy one we need - its Holes Anatomy & Physiology. Dont buy them yet though in case they have changed.
