Did my interview yesturday, couldn't have possibly given anymore than what I did, I've got to hand it to the QUB school of nursing, they are extremely welcoming and warm to all who pass their doors

Loads of people had made it out to me that the Queens panel could be quite intimidating and very serious - it was the total opposite. They were absolutely lovely and very friendly.

Yeah its my first time applying & my first nursing interview, thought the interview went ok, but you know after you always think of stuff you should have said, they were really nice but I think its so competitive you would not know which way it will go, I loved belfast though it was my first time , so I'm set on Queens now, that timetable is great, ya was able to apply for the feb intake but she said they werent exactly sure yet if there would be one but when I rang the college she said I can put down the two intakes if i wanted, you could be right though maybe they won't have one i hope they do though more of a chance hahaha, just waiting to hear bk now but if i dont get it i'm going to do a pre nursing and try again the year after

Im sure you done a lot better than you expected! I thought i did dreadful last yr, i was on reserve and got in through reserve so there is always hope! :-)

Im on the fast track course at the minute in Belfast Met at the minute, its equivalent to 3 a levels- so it depends what qualifactions you already have. In order to do a fast track access course you need to be over 19 and have been out of education for 3 years.

I have been thinking about a fast track access course, but I don't want to have to stay out of education for that long. I want to get into uni as soon as possible, hopefully for 2014/15 entry.

What do you guys think of a 1 year A level programme at Belfast met? I could do 2 or 3 AS and A2 levels in a year.

Received an unsuccessful from Queens for Childrens nursing today :frown: My UCAS Track shows the reason as "Initial shortlisting criteria not met.", what does that actually mean? Were my predicted grades not good enough? I'm slightly confused!

Has anyone heard of anyone doing interviews past today's date? I haven't... And I'm hoping that means they are finished? I hope we hear sooner rather than later, this has been such a long drawn out process - to think if I don't get in il have to do this again next year..I've went from stalking my post man to constantly checking my emails.. If we get an offer will we get it through Ucas or letter again do you think?
Interviews r over for nursing and midwifery they finished on Friday! :frown:

Are you sure? Maybe your friend should check her date is correct because numerous people have been told by Queens that interviews ended last week
Midwifery and nursing are different course though? So maybe nursing finished and this the last week of midwifery? Who knows! Never ending process
