I got the letter saying theres no more spaces.
Sucha pity! This is what i want to do. Awk well ill just hafta apply again next year!

Well at least Queens finaly is getting back to everything with good or bad news. im sure youll get there one day danielle a lot of people do work in care homes and get into nursing easier, thats what i was going to do if i didnt get in. least youd get to have a nice gap year anyways! :smile:

Hi. I got told i was on the reserve list for adult nursing and they a few weeks ago got a later saying i had a conditional offer for feb. Then after verifying my results i got a phonecall and i got in in september!! Im so excited and cant wait to start! Will be great to meet all you guys!! Gonna cost a fortune but!! Im going car shopping tomorrow as its cheaper for me to drive!! What do we have to wear on the 1st day?? i was thinking jeans?? xx

Queens take a long time making up thier minds, think its just to keep us waiting! im use you dont mind now anyways.

Total rage for all the people who didn't get in :frown:

...probably not helped by them taking so damn long...but sure at least for next year if you decide to apply again you know the process a lot better and the type of questions to prepare for at interview...giving you a bit of a headstart.

As for what to wear.....anything is probably acceptable as long as it isn't assless as an extreme example lol

Just don't do what some girls do when heading to lectures....dress up o.t.t....it's a lecture not a night out :rolleyes:

Just got a renault clio for uni!! then going nxt week to buy uni supplies! Has anyone else got their letter about tuesday yet?? i havent and starting to get abit worried! posted the bursery form away today!!

Ok so i have got back some confusing news... They say that all the places have been filled for disability nursing at this time, but alot of people fone up between now and feburary to state that they have pulled out for whatever reason! (cnt be bothered or other commitments etc...)

So im on another reserve list, and im second on it, so when someone does pull out i have gotten there place... did that make sense?! :s-smilie:

Im very very glad i had back up plans organised! I am now begining a job as a Care Assistant in an Adult Centre looking after people with (Learning) /Disabilities. We have also organised that if i get into Nursing in Feburary, then i can go to it and work on holidays etc...

So i think things are working out for me!

i phoned and they said they will send the letter's today, and we will ge them over the weekend... was kinda annoyed that when i had phoned up they couldn't just say what was in the letter... unless we are in different places.

but by her tone i would say there have been quite a few calling up.

when people get the letter will they post up here... incase someone doesn't get it....

yeah i am gona wait and do all that stuff when i get bursary... just kinda settle with what i have left over from school until then. wanna good laugh?? had my occupational health meeting yesturday... i am classified as disabled!! :O serious... i have to meet with disability services... i have partial albinism, which means my eyes take longer to focus right, it can't be fixed, but i never classified myself as disabeled... knida just got on with it... but apparently know i get some sort of assistance. afraid not to take it incase i need it in the future and i can't get it. x

I have all my files and stuff together had a lot left over from last year when i spent like £130 quid in easons....yea wtf is all i can think of now lol

deffo.... i can't believe i am actually getting to do this!!!

this time last year my teachers where telling me to be more realistic with my ambitions! and now i am not only proving them wrong, but proving myself right!! its ACTUALLY happening!! :eek:

Aha yea everytime i go past the MBC ...or see one of my friends who is a student nurse in 2nd year atm shes very excited for me lol.

We'll so change out attitude after a few weeks of early mornings and lectures......getting up for 9am lectures again is gonna be baaaad :s-smilie:
