Hey everyone. Thanks. I can't wait to start.

Cee25 I had applied for all fields but wanted to do LD and. Thankfully got in.

They are registering on the 22nd as they r still giving out offers . I have to now register on the 22nd as I couldn't register as my certificates went walkies from the toilets on the 9th. ....

I had 4 years experience plus summers working away whilst I was at uni what seems like many moons ago!
It's not so much how much experience you have, but how you apply it to your application.

I had just over a years experience working in a nursing home but that's about it. I have a part time job in a supermarket, so is not related to nursing at all, but I was able to talk about the skills that I had gained from having my job and applied it to nursing in my personal statement, like communication and organisational skills etc...
As deviant182 said it's more about how you apply your skill set to nursing in your personal statement 😊

I only had a weeks work experience in a day centre working with elderly people and a part-time job in a supermarket and I got two offers from Queens (childrens and adult) but none from University of Ulster so I think different unis look for different amounts of experience :smile: good luck!
All comes down to interview score at the end of the day.
Wouldnt matter if you had landed on the moon....

Can anybody tell me when the enrolment week is? Or give me a copy of the annual calendar? Like when Lectures,Placements,exams and holidays are? :smile:

Congrats!
No one will have Feb details really. The calendar is only up for sept intake, same as timetables etc. Feb hols are different.
Queens will send you the info so don't worry!

I got in too for Feb, found out on Thursday and confirmed yesterday. Still hope for those still on reserve. Is there a facebook page set up to join ?

@Flymo a woman from admissions rang me on Thursday morning while I was in magee for induction week. I was told by my careers teacher about 2 weeks ago that i was in the next group that they are gonna give offers to if there were vacancies :smile:

There's one for September intake, I don't think there's one yet for feb intake. Hopefully there will be one as they can be quite helpful.

Wonder how far down the list they are? Here's hoping .. Did ur careers teacher ring to find out ur score?
I have no idea, she was just in contact with one of the staff and she was told that I was in the next batch of people to be offered. I don't know if my careers teacher knew my interview score... I don't know it either...
