Congrats on your interview. I have been doin the access course part time for 2 years do you know what the overall percentage they are looking, i thought it was 60% but others are saying its around 65%?

Yea we have had this discussion in our class aswell, I thought it was 60% cuz it says on queens website its 60% if its half science based which I thought was the biology, but then others say its 65%??.... Mayb should fone and ask at queens..hopefully it is 60% its a tuff course, ive been doing it full-time from sept i feel like im losing my mind :woo:

It is tough im struggling with my last 2 modules, im just getting tired of it. My average at the mo is 65% so im hoping its 60% as well. now that iv got an interview its given me a bit more motivation. fingers crossed. I hope your interview goes well. The other girls in my class havent got any offers yet.

What are ur last 2 modules? we are doing sociology, biology and english lit at the mo!! its a nitemare I cant wait till its ovr with!! I'm fed up aswell but just keep going its so close till the end now... I think most of the girls in my class have got interviews... I hope urs goes well to, keep me posted as to how u get on..

Hey im new to this site. Got my letter in today too. Interview on 16th april. Picked adults 1st choice and childrens 2nd choice. Have also applied for midwifery at queens.

hey daisy boo. i did the access course last year and started nursing at queens in feb. even though it says 60% on the website they ask for 65% on the offer letter. i did biology and chemistry modules in the access course but they still wanted 65%. aim for this in ur access course just to be on the safe side. doubt they will as for 60% as nursing seems to be getting even more competitive. good luck

hi all, my interview is for the 23rd March, im so nervous about it. I was so confident for the university of ulster interviews, but all i feel at the moment is dread. I'm averaging 85% in my access course, so i understand my marks are good, but i really am dreading this interview.

Hi ...From what i remember about the access open day at Queens... i think its 60% if half of your course is science based... 65% otherwise.... :smile:

Hi...Ive an interview for Learning Disability Nursing on the 19th...totally dreading it!! Does anyone have any idea what questions they might ask?! :smile:

Also, Queens are known for having their interviews later than other unis so for anyone who hasnt heard anything yet - sit tight!!

Hi

Have my interview on 23 April - so far away!

I went to a talk arranged by tech - a current QUB Nursing student came in and chatted to us about the interviews. Questions included 'why do you want to be a nurse?' 'What do you know about the course?' They'll ask about a current issue - so keep up to date with the news, they'll also ask about the personal statement and about your access course/a levels - how you think it prepared you for the Nursing degree.
