Hi, my interview is on Friday at 12.50...ive been trying to prepare but whether i remember any of it or say it like im not reading from a book i dont know!!
Im so so so nervous!!! not taking anything in!! Good luck to everyone, let us know how you get on!

Oh, also I know the course content but I keep hearing they will ask what modules you will be taking...is this true? does anyone know?! Ive tried to look them up but cant seem to get them! x x

hey, from the people from my class that have already had their interviews apparently they just ask what you understand about the course in general, they didnt ask them about specific modules or anything, they were asked 5 questions each and said it only lasted about 15mins

yea you don't get asked about specific modules....just what you understand the course to contain in totality

hey guys what a huge relief interview done and dusted!! lol it actually went really well (i hope) was able to answer everything and wasnt as nervous as i thought, i had 2 middle aged ladies interviewing me they were soooo lovely didnt know whether to hug them or shake their hands! lol by the way peeps 5 people didnt turn up 4 their interview that good for the rest of us that do!! good luck guys dont stress it really wasnt bad at all!

ps does every1 know where they r goin 2 for interview ok?

you say 5 people didnt turn up, does that mean that the interviews are group interviews?

no they arent group interviews, every1 has an individual interview, i just meant 5 people didnt turn up 4 their own interview so that means the rest of us have a better chance of getting offered a place if people arent even turning up! lol there were some that didnt show up for interviews on monday either apparently!

What are ur last 2 modules? we are doing sociology, biology and english lit at the mo!! its a nitemare I cant wait till its ovr with!! I'm fed up aswell but just keep going its so close till the end now... I think most of the girls in my class have got interviews... I hope urs goes well to, keep me posted as to how u get on..

Hi pretty girls 10 my last 2 modules are English literature and psychology, i seem to be constantly doing assignments i cant w8 til its over too. My interview date is getting closer and im dreading it.

hey daisy boo. i did the access course last year and started nursing at queens in feb. even though it says 60% on the website they ask for 65% on the offer letter. i did biology and chemistry modules in the access course but they still wanted 65%. aim for this in ur access course just to be on the safe side. doubt they will as for 60% as nursing seems to be getting even more competitive. good luck

Hi Suzie Wong thanks for your reply, my average so far is 65% i am aiming to get this with my last 2 modules. I got a disappointingly 59% in sociology that dragged my mark down. If i get 65% i will be by the skin of my teeth. R u enjoying nursing so far?

Hope so, but I have read somewhere that there is 1600 interviews for Queens and only 250 places. But I have also been told by my tutor that they have to keep so many places for mature students, not sure if thats true, but made me feel a bit better about my chances.

Hi Access 09 my interview is 31st march im nowhere near prepared, iv been hearing all sorts on what they will be asking. My only advice is to try googling some stuff on what you think you will be asked. Thats what im gona do. I will let you know how i get on in mine.

wow!! thats fab congrats!!!i only applied to queens so if i dont get in there thats me screwed lol
yeah thats rite by the way queens have had huge numbers of applications this yr around 1600 and i heard there are about 350 places available on nursing course, i think they do like to keep some places aside for mature students though, dont worry u'll be fine!! xxx

there have been 5 people from my access class who have had interviews now, i went yesterday every1 got asked the same 5 questions, then i got completey diffrent ones thrown at me yesterday! lol and they asked me about 6 or 7 questions altogether, just as well i didnt assume i would get the same questions as every1 else or i would have been really underprepared.
I think it would be more fair though if absolutely every1 got asked the same things, because my questions were a lot tougher than my classmates (well i think so anyway! lol) i managed to answer them all though so fingers crossed for june!!

The two interviewers were lovely...they didnt write anything down though? Ah well its over now so all I can do is wait.....all the way to June!

im gonna consider myself a mature student too!! lol well im not 18 so that makes me a little bit more of a mature student! its scary when you think how many are competing for the same places on the course but i reckon if its meant to be it will be!!...june just seems like a lifetime away when ur interview is over already
