does anyone know what happens regarding references? do they only look for references if your successful, or what?

i emailed them and they said youl hear nothing until june :frown:

shortlisting must take them forever! god im not sure id say if came down to it references would probably then b more important, not quite sure

I thought that the references had to be in to get the interview? maybe they have already asked for and been sent the references.

Hi people, just had my interview today and it went really well i think :smile:

Although i got asked about 8 questions even though i was told i would be asked 5, but i answered them all well. Anyone else get askrd more than 5 questions ???

Yeah i was told 5 questions at the start but im pretty sure it was around 8 in a very conversational style. Felt very relaxed actually the 2 ladies were lovely :smile:

From what I can remember references don't become important until after you have been given the offer of a place, and obviously subject to meeting occ. health and references and/or grades you place then becomes confirmed.

Am in uni atm busssssy : (....next placement is cardiology tho yay : D

I think the interviews finish this week....a girl in my class had hers today...so there isnt any reason that they are late...just that they had soo much to get through....should hear by end of may...beginning of June.... :smile:

cheers! cazalou, i only asked cos my letter said interviews were from 15th march to 23rd april! i was hoping they'd be starting to go thru them all lmao!!

Yeah lilysue79 interview dates were extended....I had my interview on 15th March...the first day of it all.....its feels like its been like FOREVER since i was there....Hate all this waiting.....Good luck again to everyone ... :smile:
