Nursing at Queens...

Guys i just phoned up the bad news is that the reserve list has over 700 people on it, the good news is that she said my score was 19 out of 25 and i have a good chance, phone up and get your scores she didnt tell me where i was on the list tho

OMG! Over 700 people?? from what i know last yrs reserve list was less than half that amount which might explain why every1 got a place eventually. A girl in my access class knows a lady who works at the nursing registry at queens and apparently conditional offers this year were given to candidates who scored 21 or above out of 25 at interview, so going by that the highest score on the reserve list will be people who scored 20/25. I believe i only got an offer because the ladies who interviewed me were so lovely!! they would have put any1 at ease! very best of luck to absolutely every1!! xxxx

If 20 is highest on reserve that means i must be near top sayin that a hundred people could have a score of 20. Well done with your offer.

I know my first year result was 80%. I asked and she said access could bring their up when they get them, as there is no point waiting to Aug and standing for 1.5 hrs waiting to be seen!!!

Did anyone get an offer for February, how many places are there in total is it 250?

thanks! I'd say u stand a fantastic chance of a place then with that score...u have nothing to worry about! I doubt every1 will have scored that highly there could potentially be people on the reserve list with 13 or 14/25, and look at it this way even if a hundred people do have the same score as you they took more than a hundred off the reserve list last year so u'll be in!! ur first in the queue and thats the best place to be right now!! lol xxxxx

I know me too!! well i only need 60% because my access course is science based but a conditional offer great as it may be, means nothing if i fail! lol i'll be gutted if I screw this up! xx

yeah i got all excited when i heard that until i realised thats only for access courses moderated by UU! lol mine is moderated by queens so our results wont be out until near the end of june! grrrrrr more waiting! where are u doing ur course im at BMC Castlereagh xxx

The co-ordinator Joanne Sholdis left a msg on Blackboard to say we could come and pick up our results on 15th June between 11am and 3pm! The Access Science course i am doing at College Square East is moderated by the University of Ulster.
