I foned Queen's 2day aswell the girl was lovely and very helpful, she said the info day was for potential students who hav applied for mental and learning disability and any1 who applied for adult but had those branches as their other choice got a letter aswell! She said it was nothing to do with ur conditional offer and tht if u meet the criteria on ur offer u have ur place :smile:

She also said tht if u want to know anything just fone the registry office and not to listen to speculation :smile:

Does anyone know if they verify all the references? Just as far as I know they havent contacted mine yet and one of them since I filled out the application form has moved house and job! Worried Queens will not be able to get a hold of them!

Hi alig, as far as I know thts the very 1st thing they check but I think they only fone if they need more info or if smething doesn add up on ur application form, a girl I know in her 2nd yr was sayin they dont fone every1's referee's, ul be grand.....roll on sept :smile:

had my occ health today, and the lady said everything was ok and that I had nothing to worry about. I'm sssoooo relieved, and thankful that it is all over, though I have a list of 5 injections i need to get :frown:

Anyone get an email for info day for childrens??? My friend just txt me, she got email saying info days are 10th & 12th Aug......so thats learning disability, mental health and childrens.....hope they are gonna have one for adult too???

I sent an email to registry to ask who got the letter and why? This is what i got!

The open day is addressed only Mental Health and Learning Disability Applicants who have been made an conditional offer.

I am on reserve for mental health and I got the letter!! - does this mean I will get a place? I am going to ring and ask them on Monday! They may not tell me, but if ur bursary is confirmed with another Uni it is suggested that u can't change and accept a place at Queens or any other Uni - at least thats what UU told me anyway!

Yeah thats what i thought but im going to ring and ask because why did the email say conditional offer?? I don't want to confirm a place with UU incase Queens comes up so I need to see if there is a way round that!! That is the email they sent I just copied and pasted it on here.

I never recieved an info day letter either but not stressing to much as it's not likely people who've meet the requirements to not get place! I emailed them to ask them and they are closed and will deal with my enquiry tomorrow!! I have a conditional offer for childrens so maybe we do get called at different times, I'll let you know when they e-mail back tomorro. I have my occ health tomorrow my skin has nearly cleared up :smile:

which I'm over the moon about and also have a letter from my dermotologist so fingers crossed!!

Hi everyone,

Havent got an email or letter for the childrens open day ....... but not going to worry bout it, going to try to keep my cool from now on :cool:

Anyways, had australian cousins staying with me last week, showed them round the uni, maybe a bit too much of the MBC, even the house I was interviewed in, poor ppl, I bored them loads..... but I dont care, roll on sept :yep:

Hi everyone I hate to ask this in here but I'm sure your all the right people to ask.

I have been told that I have NSU (non specific eurethritis)...which in a couple of days I may be told might be chlamydia.

My question is, will they turn me down straight away or not?.

(confused as it is cureable and it shouldn't be something that'll affect me in the role if it is positive)
