explaining energy level diagramWatch
Can someone reeaalllly explain this one to me please
What is happening is the reactant has a higher energy than the product. So as the reaction progresses, there is a release in heat energy to the surroundings thus decreasing the enthalpy. So as you’d imagine, with more energy to the surroundings, it will make the surroundings hotter.
In terms of activation energy, which isn’t illustrated on that diagram, how do you think it’s important?
