MSc Crime science/Criminal psychology/Forensic investigation_University of Portsmouth

I’m considering to study a master’s degree at the University of Portsmouth. I’m interested in crime science, criminal psychology or forensic investigation. Any current or former student who could give me their opinion about these modules? Advantages and disadvantages? Are the careers described on the website realistic? Is this a good university to study for an MSc in the field of criminal justice studies? As an international or European student, do you recommend Portsmouth university and this programme? Or do you recommend any similar masters degree at a different university? Thanks!

Hi! @paula.s.s

I'm currently a 3rd-year student studying criminology with criminal justice. I've enjoyed the course a lot and the lecturers are so enthusiastic. So much that I've decided to study Criminal Justice and Intelligence as a masters come September.
A lot of the lecturers have worked in the area as specialists and are currently working on their own studies in the area. I know wildlife crime and contemporary criminology is one of the only places to study, here at Portsmouth. I know a few international students and its been great getting a different cultural perspective on such matters.

If you have any further questions about this, please feel free to ask away!
