So I’ve booked to go on NCS with a friend starting 5th July. However, I only learned today that my sixth form induction day is on the 8th July meaning I’ll be on the residential for NCS so won’t be able to attend. My parents are saying I shouldn’t do NCS and just go to the induction day (as it’s a new school for me so will be good to get my bearings before September). What should I do?

(I don’t want to book NCS for a later date because I’m busy in august and I want to go with a friend)

And if I refund NCS and don’t go what could I do over the whole of July (because my brother will be in school and my parents working until the 20th July I think)

Thank you

Sixth form will always be there but trust me an amazing chance like NCS won't be. I am also going this year with a friend and I'm so excited about the activities and honestly, I don't think it would be worth it. Hope that helped
