Sure it happens but it’s rare so idk why people tell me to make friends just for a chance to get a girlfriend even though friends are super overrated and probably harder to make than getting a gf chances of meeting a girl from friends who is single that likes you is rare!

It can happen when your not looking or trying, just a chance meeting and it happens.
Try too hard and it may not be what you want or need and it can be hard work. Just be yourself and you never know what’s around the next corner, that includes friends and girlfriends.

Good luck with your future

My first partner was through a friend, and my second (current) was through a friend, and I got that friend (who got me my second partner) a partner, and thus she got it through a friend! The friend who I set up with that friend is also a friend though, so that counts as a double whammy!

A ton of couples were friends first, but if you're making friends trying to get a girlfriend that may be counterproductive. It makes intuitive sense - being close as friends means you get to know someone more so if there's a potential for attraction you'll work it out. Finding a partner in general is hard and takes lots of luck, but I've at least found that couples that we're friends first tend to work out better.

There’s not an age limit of getting someone. You just haven’t found one for you yet.
I think you will be surprised on how many people didn’t have a GF/BF in their teenage years.
When we haven’t got something we tend to focus on the people that have.

I promise you it will happen and when It does it will hit you and you probably won’t even think about the past when you didn’t have one.

if you are able go places that interest you the people you meet there have the same interest as you so you have something in common as friends or more.

The point isn't to make friends with the explicit and exclusive intention of trying to get a girlfriend, it's to socialise with other human beings regularly so you are actually interesting and appealing to other women either within or outside of those friendship groups, and can demonstrate you have some level of empathy while being able to have meaningful and respectful interactions with others. If you're just forcing friendships in the hopes of getting laid, you aren't going to have meaningful interactions with people and you will come across as shallow and indifferent to other's feelings, both to those you are trying to force a friendship with and to others (due to not having actually developed the skills to communicate and listen and empathise with them etc).

Ok well most women aren't looking to date someone with the social skills of the unabomber, so you might need to manage your expectations regarding relationships in that case.

Friends are really overrated though! It makes me laugh when I say I’m trying to meet a woman people say “make friends” a.the chances of meeting a woman through friends are slim! B. It’s harder to build a social circle from scratch than to get a girlfriend...

Saying the thing repeatedly doesn't make it true, nor does it change your current situation...?

Complaining about being single isn't gonna make a girlfriend appear out of thin air. Why do you keep making these threads complaining instead of going out there to better yourself?
