Hey, if a whole English Language Paper is worth 80 marks then would the Writing Section which is worth 40 marks be half each grade boundary? E.g. Given that you need 34 out of 80 marks to get a grade 4 means you need 17 out of 40 marks (34 / 2 = 17) in Q5 to get a grade 4?

Here's a breakdown of what you need to get out of 40 in Q5 to get a certain grade:
Total - 40 marks
Grade 9 - 31 marks
Grade 8 - 29 marks
Grade 7 - 26 marks
Grade 6 - 23 marks
Grade 5 - 20 marks
Grade 4 - 17 marks
Grade 3 - 12 marks
Grade 2 - 8 marks
Grade 1 - 3 marks
U - 0 marks
