Hi I'm at the end of my year 12 and I'm thinking of dropping psychology A-level. The teacher I have is rubbish, his idea of teaching us is setting prep and pre-recorded videos that make no sense. I'm finding psychology quite hard due to the inadequate teaching. My latest exam, i got an E. I'm predicted a B and have no idea how I'm going to get that grade. I worried this subject will fail to get me into university.

Should i drop or Should i carry on?

Well, what do you really get from dropping it?

Is there a chance you would get a new teacher next year?
If you are doing 4 alevels its definitely not too late: you havent even applied to uni yet.

Mmm ig it depends what you want to do at uni + how they give out offers, but im pretty sure most give offers out on 3 alevels, so if you're doing 2 you will be regected stright away.
Tho again, look at the universities and courses you want.

What are your other A levels?
What do you hope to apply for at university?
Have you spoken to your college about whether they’ll support you to take another A level in one year or a different qualification?
