through out Macbeth Shakespeare presents guilt as a consuming and destructive emotion that burdens the characters that strive for power. shakespeare uses macbeth to show the result of disrupting the natural order and going against Gods willIn this extract (act 2 scene 2) we see Macbeth immediately after he has committed the murder of Duncan.
