I am looking into the assessment procedure in relation to capped modules and researching the discrepancies seen across UK universities and how students are affected, both mentally and professionally.
1. Component to module failed. Resubmission capped at pass mark. Passed component mark not affected.
2. Component to module failed. Entire module capped at pass mark irrespective of passed component mark.

If you were aware the entire module was capped at a pass mark due to first component failure, how would this affect your learning going forward knowing the next component is capped at a pass mark irrespective of how much you study and work on that particular piece of coursework?
