I am no expert on Law but I think City, University of London has a better reputation than Brunel when it comes to Law.
Both City and Brunel are plate glass unis (gained university status in the 60's). However, City enjoys I believe a better reputation since it is also a constituent college of the University of London (UoL). Which happened recently in 2016 and as such it is the most recent member of UoL.
