Except it being a prestigious uni for top jobs, what's LSE's (social) aspect like? Lectures? Classes?

University is what you make of it. LSE has a very committed cohort, especially among the 'blue-riband' courses such as Law/Economics.

What's the social life like? Well, like any other university... There's nothing magical about LSE. You are going to find people heading out and about every day, just like anywhere else. You may have heard rumours about it being quieter than other unis? There may be a modicum of truth there, because people are focused on their academics. That said, I've never had any issues.

Lectures - Well, there are huge theatres... most are two hours long.

Classes - One/Two hours long. Usual sizes are around 10-15
