Coursework

HI ! So I have to decide my coursework by the end of the week and im having some issues ! My professor recommend us do the topics we do as a way of revision but I find them very dry and boring. I have an interest in civil rights and this sort of falls under the category of one of my subjects in America, but I have been struggling to find resources- and there's no past things on it that I can read about?? I was thinking of going down the road of women's rights or the liberation movement , but any ideas or suggestions on questions or advice would be much appreciated.
