Hi guys,

I am bit lost, I need to get this Statutory Declaration letter from a solicitor to give to SFE as they are asking, has anybody did this before ? Any specific template ? I am still under the same house, but no longer together since 2017, got my own bedroom.

Is this a problem ?

Hi, it's not required to send that evidence - there is other acceptable evidence.

You can complete the Marital Status Declaration form instead and attach evidence on the form http://ow.ly/d/8pd8
Thanks, Isaac

You can use a solicitors letter if you choose to do so, yes.
Thanks, Isaac

Hi,

My issue is:

I have a civil partnership from GERMANY ( abroad ), my relationship ended in 2017, but we are still legally in civil partnership, I haven’t started the court proceedings to end the civil partnership because is very expensive and I can’t afford right now.

Is there any other alternative? Does it make sense ?
