Taking days away from college

Hello, I am starting my first year in college in September 2021 doing Level 3 Business, But i have to take out 11-12 days away from college from the 29th September as i have a holiday booked to the Dominican for my mum and step-dads wedding. What should i do? how do i inform the college? will i get a fine?
You can't take holidays in term-time.
No, not even in 6th Form or at College.
I suggest you call the College and ask them what they think about you regarding those two weeks as an optional extra.

I get what you are saying, but my family have had this holiday booked since June 2020, and it was postponed to September this year, so i dont really have a choice but to go on it because TUI wont refund the £7grand we spent on it.
