Hi guys,

I’m Charlotte, and I’m an MA Magazine Journalism student. I’m just posting in here because as part of my degree’s final project, I am looking into students who got issued fines as a result of breaking social distancing rules.

I feel like a lot of the press coverage was one-sided and focussed on demonising students, so I would be looking to speak to students who were fined about their side of the story - how they dealt with the fine, whether the uni gave them enough support, etc.

I’d love to hear first-hand student perspectives and amplify YOUR voice in this situation, so if you have experienced fines from the university or police this year, please drop me a DM on here.

Thank you!
