This just happened to me for searching ‘omegle’ which is in NO WAY relevant and my anxiety is insane right now but realistically neither of our searches are related to anything illegal or disgusting and authorities must understand these things just happen and they don’t have the time to go scanning through content warnings. Im 90% sure its distribution, downloading and actually watching it that gets you in trouble not closing a tab from a warning of potential content. Saying that, I will continue to panic non stop for the next month. We’re in the same boat at least.
Similar thing has happened to me and now I’m so scared even though it was completely innocent. How are things now?

This just happened to me today too, cause the word ‘young’ was in search (same as you, college stuff etc I’m looking for) now I’m super scared and paranoid. I x’ed out of the tab straight away and haven’t gone back in since. It’s been a month for you, has anything happened ?
I also used the word young but completely innocently - has anything happened?

Has anything happened as a result of this - similar thing happened to me when I typed older couple younger girl - completely innocent meaning middle aged couple and 25 year old girl etc. Now I have so much anxiety
I typed “Omegle” which has no correspondence to wanting to see sick stuff and got the same warning. 5 days have past and nothing has happened to me. I also have really bad anxiety, just try and make a better worded search In future.

Omegle is well known as a synonym for child pornography, thats why you got a warning. I'd be curious what else you could expect to get from it though...

Oh well I had no idea about that tbh, I seen a video on PH a verified video and that’s what I was searching for, I know for the future to not search for that if it has anything to do with anything like that. Badly worded search.

This comes up occasionally on the reddit legal advice forum. Those warnings are just that.. a warning. They are meant to prevent you from accidentally stumbling upon illegal material.. or to serve as a shock to those attempting to find it. As others have pointed out; you can come across them from totally innocent intended searches. Just don't search that or similar terms in future.

Misspelling a word also flags that up, needless to say panicked the **** out of me. Have to double check spellings before clicking search.

As a general rule, pedos dont use popular porn sites like Porn Hub as the company is careful what content they publish. If you find something suspicious, report to Internet Watch Foundation anonymously, who will check and if necessary, report the content to authorities.
That message was fake. Designed to scare you into avoiding illegal content.
The Police look for patterns of behaviour over the long term from Pedos. So, if a user happens to see illegal content once or twice inadvertently, just close the page and delete browing history or better still, report it, if kids are involved or excessive violence is shown.

Most broswers have an option to search within a Private Browsing Window so your cookies and search history are not recorded. You can also get a VPN account (chargeable) if you want to hide your IP address before browsing or sending and receiving data over internet.

Just remember, those who look at illegal content in long term will get caught. Illegal content is particularly widespread watched by highly intelligent men like scientists, IT experts, business owners etc... who have a greater capacity to fantasise.

Hey guys,I searched for 'cgi' on PH and got that warning, I thought it was weird since I was really looking for some 3D stuffs... Then I thought maybe 'cgi' has another meaning so I've done my researches and all I could come up with was 'Computer Generated Imagery' - 'Could Get It' and 'Common Gateway Interface'.In my opinion they need to work on it because it is way too sensitive. I've read that they had some **** last year over some illegal content that was post on the platform that would explain why they are now overzealous.https://www.bbc.com/news/technology-55304115...don't let the domain name on the link fool you the 'bbc' on the link stands for 'British Broadcasting Company', not 'Big Black ****
