Southampton Uni chat thread

Staying in tonight. Museum visit tomorrow morning and then the rest of the day I'll be working on my WW1 presentation and then Thursday, Friday, Saturday going to be spent swapping my blood for beer.

Will you be going to any of the nights out Emma or is it all done and dusted on that part?

im going there, wanted to ask whats wrong and whats right about the uni?

To southampton?

Good: Good uni, lots going on, always something to do, city has lots of different nights out, easy to get around but not too big that it's easy to get lost/costs a fortune to get everywhere by taxi, free buses.

Bad: Monte is a 30min walk from Avenue, although it is the best halls so don't let the distance sway you. You can get buses to and from both places for free though.

That's all I can think of at the moment.

thanks i dont trust your open day guides as much cause someone might of put them up to it

I'm sure open day guides are just as honest as the rest of us...if anyone asks me about the uni, I give honest opinions, because I don't want them coming here and hating it

Not sure if I'm going out, Thursday night I'm most probably not, Friday I'm not 'cause I am working at 8.30 saturday morning, but Alice is here for the weekend and we are defo going out Saturday night. Dunno if I'll see you guys cause havent spoken to L for aggess actually.

Its sunny . What makes it better is my mates at other unis are complaining about the rubbish weather and I can plead ignorance and it annoys them!
