Unless something goes properly wrong, I should be coming to Southampton in the autumn (yey!)
So just to warn you, I may be asking a lot of questions in the near future! So to start... Which is the nearest hall to Highfield and Avenue Campus? and for BA French and Spanish is there anything I should revise for French/Spanish to prep me? Am I going to be completely out of my comfort zone?

Technically, the nearest halls are the ones above the banks which are on campus, but thats for postgrads apparently.
The nearest is Glen Eyre - hartley grove la di da and all that.
About the Spanish and French thing, do Engineering instead, miles better trust me
Highfield Halls is right next to Avenue campus and a short walk away from Highfield. And re. the language thing, don't worry too much about it, there's a stage system for each language (i.e. you'll be placed on a level that will suit your ability), transition between A Level and stage 4 isn't too difficult But yay for languages

Hey! Congratulations on making a fantastic choice in universities! We're a friendly bunch, so ask as many questions as you want! Sarah H, cloop, wannabe_mexican and I are all studying languages here, so you've certainly got plenty of help in the languages field!
I think Sarah covered it all really, as far as halls are concerned, Highfield Hall is your nearest for Avenue Campus - but I'd personally recommend Glen Eyre; as much as it pains me to say it! That's just because it's a little nearer to campus...but all halls have good transport links, so you can't go wrong really.

Just going to repeat what the others have said really! Yes HIghfield Halls are closer to Avenue, but Glen Eyre is better generally; it's very close to Highfield and easier to get onto most bus routes, as well as the union and if you have any lectures at highfield!
Don't do any prep! All the stuff you'll do in first year you'll get a lot of time to prep anyway! Don't worry about that! Good luck with your exams!!
Wassuupp peeps! How be everyone today? Anybody out tonight? Reached the age of 22 today . Such a nondescript age that noone really cares about lol. I think I will cry into my pint lol.
