In WW1 to encourage men to enlist in the army there was that famous poster

"I need YOU to join the British Army" and it had a picture of Lord Kitchener, the top army bloke, pointing at you. I just thought seeing as you're living on Kitchener road!

I am paying National Insurance, actually. :p:

I get cash in hand because it's all waitering, cleaning and bar work. :jive:

I know we don't pay tax as students in the holidays but do we in term time?
Nope. It's why we don't have to pay council tax either. As far as I know. Any tax you pay can be reclaimed, I think.

Depends how much you earn. If its over something like £5.5k then yeh you get taxed i think
