Mmmmh yeah, went for a run in the sun this morning in the park by Monte, then came back and my flatmates were like "frisbee practise?" so i turned right around and played frisbee in the sun for an hour after that! Lush morning.

there, my name is Shay, im hoping to study mathematics with management at southampton in october...i was wondering if any1 could recommend a good textbook which relates to my 1st year modules that i could use to do sum maths revision in the summer and get a head start ahead of uni...any recommendations?

I wouldn't say there's anything specific you need to get as there's very little that isn't A-Level stuff in the first year, just a few further applications of it.

Any book that gives an introduction to Calculus (limits and l'Hopital's Rule) or Differential Equations will be more than sufficient.
LOL Brits when the sun comes out. Where I am it is 30 degrees bright sun everyday and everyone (me included) still wears jeans and a jacket/shirt...:beard:

Damp and miserable in Paris...I still love it though.

The draft Summer Exam timetable has been leaked.

If it's true, then I have all afternoon exams, but on the 24th, 25th....and then the 2nd. Over a week gap. :sad:
