Anyone here had any experience with applying to halls in your second/third years? I sent my application in and the people at enabling services AND dyslexia services say I have strong case to get in this year. I sent it in like 2 days after it opened to current students and they said we'd expect a reply in April..... it's the 20th now and it's not even processing. GRRRRR
Saw a couple of 3 bed flats around the portswood area, they tended to be above shops though. Otherwise yeah could you not get a 4 bed house and advertise for a new housemate?

From past experience in 2008 and 2010 they have usually confirmed that they will make an offer by mid-March (although it may take a while for them to tell you exactly what they are offering). I applied going into second and fourth year, got an offer both times without any circumstances that would have given preferential treatment so I would be surprised if they don't give you an offer. I ended up living privately both times anyway though.
Do 3 bed houses/flats exist? One of my current housemates has got a job in London and that leaves 3 of us to find a house.
...yeah we've left it pretty late.
My house is still up for rent, but it's a 4 bed although it's only £59 a week so maybe you could split the cost of the other room and use it as a man-den!
I'm living in the same house I've been living for this year and last year. After 3 years of being in there it's going to take me forever to move out. I'll probably need a van or something.
Omg, I was trying to look for help with finding a dress for the ball, and now I have decided that putting my bra size on TSR is the biggest regret of myself. Why are so many people SO WEIRD. Is Soton the only normal place in the world of TSR?!??!
No, by definition every guy on tsr is one of these two people: geeky, too skinny or too fat, has no personal skills and is a virgin or incredibly muscley, overly confident and a man whore.
Haha, I was watching the IndyCar over the weekend out of boredom and the weather looked absolutely horrendous in Sao Paulo!
And there's always going to be creepy guys ogling your boobies Clo, some of them are too high on testosterone and hormones!
On the plus side, you'll be living near me when you're back in Soton next year, and with how hench I'll be when I'm off crutches, I can be your personal bodyguard. Haha.
