When is bunfight this year? I'm going to sign up to the same societies and actually go to them this time :teeth:

My intention too. Although I'll skip the Bunfight, mainly because being so close to so many people again will drive me insane.
Yeah, it's the wednesday.

Sorry if this has already been answered but I thought tickets were guna be out to buy last friday? I can only see Freshers Welcome Party, Freshers Rave, and Frshers Ball tickets. Is there going to be a bulk buy option or do I need to buy individually?

Think I just found an idea of what my first semester is going to be like (think its guna be an exam):

A2 Any complex algorithm can be broken down into modules and submodules.
Describe the advantages of doing this, and explain the
principles of coupling, cohesion and generalisation. [10 marks]

No, they changed it to sometime this week. You can buy packs and stuff, but that'll probably be out with the JCR timetables.
Oh and they're supposed to email you about them (on your pre-uni email)

Don't worry, it looks horrific now but when you get there it'll still be horrific but you'll have massively lowered your standards and it'll be fine!

I've either lost the ability to understand the English language or I'm missing something. (and again?)

Memorise your student ID, you'll be using it many more times in the next few weeks.

Your like my little information elf! Thankyouuu

I don't like being called an elf, but nonetheless, you're welcome.

Also, I've forgotten what you're studying. But as you're a part of ECS, welcome to the mostawesome department there ever was, is or will be.

Ah, don't worry - I'm sure you'll be fine. It's not as bad as I made out. Saying that, I did get into an exam which had the question 'explain what the Bouma sequence is and describe its sequence'. I was like ':bricks: what the hell is the Bouma Sequence?'. Not good.

It was one of those sneaky things. Basically, you get these sequences called turbidites which I knew all about. However, turbidites are split into a few types which I wasn't familiar about. I think it was a case of a passing comment by a lecturer which I missed or some reading I didn't do... who does reading anyway?!

You're generally allowed, just ask the lecturer first.

Don't watch the hype. :smug:
