I walked from White House back to Glen a few times, did Oceana to Glen once too - stop complaining ffs, the exercise is good.

Fresher Reps social tonight. :woo:

Was that before or after you hurt your leg? Bearing in mind that I have a torn cruciate ligament atm, walking that far makes my leg ache a lot :colonhash:

You don't need to walk back to guess how far away your house is :facepalm2:

I know how far away it is, we just had to see how it felt to walk that far :colonhash:

Three boxes, two suitcases and various carrying stuff later and I'm ready to move in.

I came back during the summer and walked from my current house (bottom of Welbeck) to Sobar and back before being cleared to walk again.

Also walked on crutches from campus to Jesters and back twice at the end of last year - got some horrendous blisters doing so. :dontknow:

Don't worry, we've had all our manual handling training - though I guarantee now all the people helping out tomorrow will be hungover. :p:

There was me about to make a self-righteous rant about how you're all wrong and then I realised you were being sarcastic. Forgive me - I haven't been up this early since... wednesday, but that's not the point!

Apparently only about 20% of people moved in today, which means tomorrow is going to be fun. :colonhash:

Fortunately I'm excused from doing massive amounts of lifting because of injury. :h:

Why so few? I thought it was split 50/50?

People can turn up when they like - they recommend the whole 'boys at one time, girls at another' because of congestion, but it certainly isn't strict.

The 20% is what I've heard from my housemate who is also a Glen head rep and was helping the move-in today. :dontknow:
