Have you organised a group for the team project for ECON2001? Was reading through the course outline today and saw that they had to be organised by the end of Week 3 so was wondering whether people have done it yet...
Does anyone know a good Afro-Caribbean barbershop in Southampton?
I've tried searching online, but I'm not having much luck.
I don't know if it's any good, but there's one right near where I live (down where Brickfield Road meets Portswood Road, about 5-10 mins down the back of the library)
Also, does anyone know where the clubs and socs room has moved to? All I have is 'under the SU building' (which one?!). I'm just gonna be wandering around for hours and miss my rehearsal or something stupid like that.

Do you know the name of it by any chance?
Also, I have some friends coming down on the weekend but I've heard all of the best nights out are during the week. Is there anywhere you can recommend for a Saturday night?

Afraid I don't know what it's called now, it used to be called Rocco but I'm 95% sure that's not what it's called at the moment.
Saturdays are always iffy, I'd say Jesters/Sobar or in town in somewhere like Chilliwhites or Junk but it's never as good as Friday nights are.

What kind of night do you like? I am a guidebook of club nights haha

Go down all the stairs in the Cube, turn to the right, pass the toilets on the left, turn to the left, pass the squash courts from above on your right, it is through the doors, and then the doors on the right

I would like somewhere relatively big but busy at the same time. I heard Oceana on a Saturday is pretty much a no go. Somewhere that isn't grimy like Jesters either. Hope that description wasn't to rubbish.
Economics to Mathematics with Economics. I found pure econ didn't have enough maths in it and essays are really not my strong point.

Perfect description :-)
ChilliWhites is good on a Saturday, though more of a local scene than it would be on a Friday! However, it is a bit classier than the usual night out, and not tooooo expensive!
Junk is generally very specialised on a Saturday; a lot of house music. And maybe a few druggies. Haha.
Cafe Parfait is a new popular place to go on a Saturday.. Though it can be quite expensive! It is quite dressed up and more of a Solent-y type of place :-)
Rhino is newly re-opened, and is trying to make its name so lots of promotions and drink deals.. Decent music, nice staff. Quite big!
