I personally haven't found that the 4th year content has been much harder than the 3rd year content but the amount of time I've got to spend working is unbelievable. Things like trying to fit 3 days worth of lab work into 2.5 days so having to work right up to the time I'm kicked out of the building by security!

I went out for dinner last night with choir and it was glorious socialising. :smile: Also, I have absolutely run out of food. This is less than ideal.

So it turns out that because the national trust are obtuse, my society has just brought membership for the entire university. Ridiculous.

Nah, it's 'group educational membership' so you have to book in advance and come along with the membership number or card or something. We're going to negotiate with the societies office to see if they'll buy it off us so we don't have to pay for it all/can try to offset some of the cost.
After meeting with Cloop and JTM yesterday I thought I'd check how the group is doing! I am offically a grumpy old graduate and feel like a fraud on the uni forums now! Appreciate uni whilst you can guys, I am so jealous of you, wish I could do it all again!!!

Ohhh I heard about the medic thing too! Was in Soton this week staying at my bfs and he lives with two medics, they came in with the email. Too funny! On the train home today I was reading the Metro newspaper and there was a whole article on it!

I hate group work.

[also I should apologise for all the complaining I've been doing lately, I needed a non-course-member outlet. And my flatmates are ghosts]
I definitely feel like a fourth-year now...my first wisdom tooth has started coming through! :biggrin: Unwarranted smiley face because actually it hurts mucho

mine's been coming through for a year now. it's insanely slow.
Mine are already through as well.

The last one was being pesky and meant I had to have antibiotics back in January, but they're all good and proper now. :h:
Mine are just pissing around there being indecisive about properly coming through.
