She had her hands tied on the amount of colours, Wessex Clothing only wanted to offer 3 so 5 is at least an improvement on that, but yeah, I was collecting money today and out of the 100 odd people that have ordered one, 1 person has ordered Orange...might have a word with Meg, its not too late to change the colour to a more girly colour...

Why didn't she go with Caroline's T-shirts or whatever it's called in Portswood? They have 25 colours, and each hoodie costs £13 to make.

Dunnooo, I like Caroline's, they did the GerSoc tshirts (which I practically live in atm) for us really well.

I might actually have to run for a committee position to get some proper representation, at the moment the committee's made up of CompSci/ITO-s only. I guess it's cause they have the time and we don't. But still.

And I'm bitter because the Lion King didn't win for our free movie night. :frown:

I'm in Kent being driven mad my visiting various relatives I haven't seen for years and having the same conversation a million times. So brain dead.

Also, my last full day in the UK is thurs in Southampton and then I fly far far away for a long time so if anybody is around on Thurs and wants to pop in/out/ to say bye text me.

I personally got very drunk at the Admiral which is the pub outside the NOC. I then realised I'd cycled down to NOC and was very very drunk so had to walk my bike all the way back home... such is life!

What does Technical Officer mean for the JCRs, it doesn't give it's responsibilities.

Tech (for the larger Halls especially) means being able to proficiently set up and use DJ, sound and lighting equipment for events mostly.

It's handling all the technical stuff for JCR events. Stuff like setting up the sound systems and telling the union what stuff you need. Apparently it's a bad idea to go for it unless you have experience or are willing to put in a ****load of time for training.

Yeah, I'm good friends with Jack, Mike, Doug and Sam (Glen Tech + Ass. Tech from this year and last) and they had to put in absolutely bucketloads of time.

It's harder as well because they generally tend to be part-time DJs as well - I know Doug gets a lot of bookings.
