They didn't really look at anything tbh... Things like kettles/minifridges aren't allowed so pop it back in a kitchen cupboard/wardrobe for a bit. They were in my room for about 30 seconds just make sure your sink is clean!

Ok thanks. In my room i've got plates, bowls, food, rubbish, a massive speaker system. Would any of them cause me to fail the room inspection?

Nope.. only things that will fail you is basically having an unclean sink/ensuite or having something like a fridge in your room (that they can see!)
And drugs. Hide yo' drugs.

Yeah but you always hide your drugs don't you... dunno which of your friends is the undercover police officer!
I had a road sign on clear display in my room and all the inspector said was "oh god, another one". :mmm:
brilliant.. when an inspector came in once we just had a bit of a chat and she didn't even bother taking a look around my room (or the cursory glance that it was tidy was enough... I'll never know!)

I've never been in when the inspector came around, and they never left notes saying I passed.
So I still don't know.
I lost the election :frown:
That sucks, sorry to hear that :frown:

Managed to cause myself a surprisingly bad concussion playing hockey for Humanities the other day, and have subsequently lost the ability to concentrate and stay awake for more than a few hours at a time, not good. Considering just throwing in the towel for the weekend and retreating back to my bed (and cat) in Wales.
If you're feeling that way then it's probably best to just succumb to it and catch up next week.
Think I will just do that, maybe attempt to write my essays very slowly. Also just discovered that 5 out of 5 of my housemates are going away this weekend, so I would have been lonely anyway if i'd stayed in Southy haha.
Nearly passed my Differential Equations module already. :coma:

Shame the same can't be said for the others... :erm:

I'm having a turkey dinner tomorrow (for a late thanksgiving). I've never had turkey before. So I'm very excited.

Likelihood is that you will be severely disappointed.

But why? Everyone else seems to love turkey
More like everyone likes the idea of Turkey. It's dry like sawdust. Just my opinion of course (which is shared by many). :giggle:
If you have some nice gravy and stuffing with it then it's peng
If you think turkey is a dry meat then you are just cooking it wrong. Turkey is a tasty and succulent meat which works very well stuffed with all sort of stuffings etc.
Tbh my mum cooks lovely Turkey but shes an exception. Everytime I think of Turkey I think of school Christmas dinners *shudder*.

That's your problem right there.
