Ask him whether he thought the exam today went terribly. I asked our facebook group (2nd year economists) whether anyone else found the exam hard. 26 likes so far :h:
I can't think of any economists I know... I tend to know a lot of geologists ('very surprising, aren't you a geologist' I hear you say... well yes I am but I still meet a lot of geologists socially too, it's odd considering there are so few of us)... and also a lot of computer scientists and physicists, although I think all my physics friends graduated last year.

Can't yet, he's not come home since the exam :tongue: (not in a worrying way, there's a house of philosophy and economics students a few streets away he's probably drowning his sorrows at right now)
