Btw, cloop were you at reception/info desk this morning? Wasn't sure if it was you but you looked fairly bored.

^ That gif is so true...

In other news, I'm approaching the 3,000 word mark of my essay! Hurray...although still not confident as to the quality of evidence or analysis therein. Meh. The word count for this one meant I was never going to perform amazingly.
I too agree with that picture. :colonhash:

I recognised you from your avatar  Will say hello next time I see you but didn't this time as if I was wrong and it wasn't you it'd be really awkward, that and I was seriously panicking about my thermo exam

Have any of you guys seen your timetable for next semester? Is it normal if for the first semester you had nothing and second semester was just filled with 9-6 daily? Was a massive shock when I saw that!
Depends on your modules. :yy:

I've got 8 hours a week, same as this semester, but only 1 exam.

The thing I found was that it was showing all of my periods for the whole semester and not the individual weeks. So I wont have the midterm test I have on Tuesday afternoon every week, its only for week 25. When I clicked to view next weeks timetable instead of the whole semester 2 timetable, it looked a lot more calm.
My timetable looks horrid because I have 'short fat' courses next term: basically - do a module in 3 weeks... I was going to post a print screen but it's too long to even fit on 2 screens.

Monday 9-2, 1 hour free, 5-6 and labs on some weeks between 2-5
Tuesday 9-6, 2 hours free
Wednesday 10-1
Thursday 9-6, 2 hours free
Friday 1-6, labs on some weeks between 9-12

FML! Weekends never sounded so good.
I had the biggest stroke of luck every in my German exam today, of all the essay topics that could have come up the most obscure one (50 years since the building of the Berlin wall), which we spent 1.45 hours on max, came up. I just happened to have written 1000 words on the topic in German 2 weeks before :h: Any other topic and I would have done so badly..
I have finished my essay! 3,540 words! Goodbye Spanish exile...!

Oh, and my timetable is meh...funnily enough I actually wanted some early starts, and alas I have very few...

Don't!!! :frown:

Actually what the hell am I on about? I'm quite excited to be graduating :colondollar:
Teehee sorry. It must be really exciting graduating. What are you planning for next year and so forth?
My next timetable doesn't seem so bad. One or two 9am lectures but nothing too lethal.

Why have my hours gone up?! WHY D: I know a history fresher whose hours have gone down... as if you could go lower than 6 hours.
Thursday is going to be bittersweet for me. Last exam but on Monday the 30th I return back to Soton for good. Not sure I want to tbh

Well in June I'm going to work in Disneyland Paris, and then in September I'll be starting as lecteur in a University in Rennes in Brittany, which will take me through until July 2013, at which point I'll hopefully look to going to Latin America for some time. Just trying to get some life + language experience before doing a Master's in Interpreting...in theory.

But for the time being, Year Abroad Mark II

What did you decide to do in Germany in the end, btw?
