general questions at the uni- English and French student

hi I'm an offer holder for French and English at bristol and I was wondering if someone could answer some questions I have? I'm at the moment stuck between choosing UCL or Bristol and am swaying towards the latter but want to be fully sure of my choice.
1- socially do you think bristol is a diverse place, not just culturally but in terms of different types of people? I've heard there are a large number of private school kids and even though I go to a private school I'm not looking to be surrounded by signet rings and tories lol
2- how do you find studying english in terms of the choice of modules and support you receive from the faculty?
3- what is mental health support like from the uni?
4- is being at stoke bishop for first year for like socialising worth the distance it is from the city centre/uni?
