Hi, my maintenance low is fairly low and even with my part time job, I don’t think I’ll be able to afford the costs of rent and living and my parents are not able to help out. Is there anything I can do to get a higher maintenance loan?

If your household income has been assessed then there's no way to get a larger student loan. Does your university provide any scholarships for good grades or bursaries for low incomes that you're eligible for?

Have you looked into student bank accounts for overdrafts to help spread the costs? Otherwise then the best option is to try to find cheaper accommodation that's within your budget
