Also is A Level maths really hard otherwise i won’t take it
Essex - GCSE Maths, no A level subject requirement

a level maths is split into 3 sections (idk whether it’s different for each exam board but i do edexcel): statistics, mechanics and pure. pure is the biggest section, 2/3, it’s all maths so your quadratics, cubics, graphs and also some newer topics but they generally branch off things you’ve looked over at gcse. statistics is different to pure as it looks into data and proportions more (i did this as a gcse in year 10 so first year has been easier for me so far) - i think this would be helpful for business. the last section is mechanics, which not many people tend to like as it’s quite like physics but i think once you get the hand of it, it’s not that bad. so far we’ve covered: vectors, forces, modelling and suvat. (mechanics and statistics are 1/6 each).
a level maths is hard but if you make sure to ask for help and practice, you should be able to understand topics easily *if* maths is a subject that you like to do and are good at (has to be both).
(p.s. please try to only take subjects that you like)
