Why would you start a man united thread on bloody student room of all places and you're not even be a fan???
Go outside and touch some grass lad. Feel the sun on your skin or something you know what I mean.

The Man Utd thread used to be the most active/popular on the football forum. But after SAF retired and the glory days dried up, all the Man Utd fans slowly disappeared over time. So I created the thread for Man Utd fans to post whenever they come out of the woodwork.

It's still raining so I'll stay indoors for now

I’m optimistic and hopeful and I’m proud of my club regardless. So what like bottling leads don’t happen in football it’s a unpredictable game.

Must be real unpredictable and hard against a mid-table Championship side..

I think hope is the only thing you have against Man City. They will probably have wrapped up the league by then.

Mate you’re the one to talk. They gave it a real go against Gary O’Neil Wolves and Wolves have been another level than usual. And they lost in added time when they thought they had the game won. Hope or not if Lisandro Martinez, Luke Shaw, Raphael Varane come back there’s hope. We have a defence in place. With Casmerio know how of big cup finals and Kobbie Mainoo skilled abilities and freeplay and then with Bruno ahead and the front 3 of Garnacho, Hojlund and Rashford then there’s certain optimism. It’s a tight call between Arsenal and City but yeah I think league all wrapped up for City they know it themselves. Key factor is it’s not Old Trafford or Etihad it’s Wembley a neutral venue with equal amount of fans so atmosphere will be key.

Although winning the FA Cup I don’t think will be enough to save his job. A club of our ability with the players he got should be within that Top 3 and competing on all fronts.

Man City will roll you over. It's not like Man Utd or Man City fans know how to make noise so probably doesn't matter that you're playing at a neutral venue.

Haven't Man City beat you twice this season (3-0 at Old Trafford and 3-1 at Etihad)?

Yep Man Utd have had a poor season this season. Could still finish outside of European spots if a bit of bad form kicks in. ETH will probably claim he had a good 1st season so deserves another.

As a Liverpool fan, I'd be happy if ETH was given another season

Roll us over or not I’m proud of my team regardless. Hey at least we didn’t bottle a chance at a Quadruple this season. That’s more of an embarrassment and oh yeah wasn’t it Amad that started this dismal form of yours IMG_2243.jpeg

Man Utd bottled a quadruple by September when they lost 3 of their opening 5 league games.
Then the best bottle job by December in finishing 4th in an easy CL group.

Mate we weren’t in contention for the league…or retaining the carabao cup. We bottled to progress to the round of 16 in the champions league for certain but we didn’t bottle the quadruple. Salty Liverpool fan. Keep crying and weeping over the fact how the Fa cup, Premier League and Europa League the treble went out of your hand in the space of a month.

And you ended up signing that Hungarian Flop we have our own youth academy generated product no transfer fee nothing Scott Mctominay who has more goals and assists then that flop of yours in midfield. Who cost what remind was it £60,000,000 million pounds…yeah big hype big hope we are winning the premier league with Szoboszlai, Endo and Harvey Elliot, and Alexis MacAllister the biggest flop yet bought at £35,000,000 million pounds…yeah that’s ironic yet embarrassing.

Lol that wasn’t even a penalty the one against AWB. Penalty decisions have been going against us recently. Chelsea, Liverpool and Coventry named examples. You literally came close to a defeat against United and had Garnacho timed his run then he would have hardly been offside and it’d have been 3-1 to us

You just bottled the league against Crystal Palace lad. You lost 3-0 at home against Atalanta and you got beat by a horrendous Man U side in the FA cup.

Also, Ruben Amorim isn't even going to Liverpool hahahahaha!!!

You're calling Szobolai a flop? Shows how much you know about football..
Mctominay may get a few goals here and there but ETH doesn't rate him. Only plays him when others are injured.

MacAllister has probably been the signing of the season for that fee..

Only embarrassment is your lack of football knowledge.

4th in an easy CL group
12 league losses already in just 32 games
24 points behind Liverpool in the league.

Not sure you can laugh at anyone else..
