Gender has nothing to do with football knowledge.
I think if anyone knew how Cole Palmer would progress then Man City would have kept him instead of selling.

He is a United fan and was ready to join.

The gender was a joke... OK...

Feel like when I watched Palmer at city I thought he was gonna be a foden level player. I was genuinely happy when we signed him. Turned out to be even better.

Foden easily the most overhyped PL player of the last 10 years. Genuinely find it baffling.

Palmer is cold. Thick as **** though. Dont think he really knows what the hell he is doing, just balls out

Unbelievable we are ahead of City lol in the table.

After the Grimsby horror show, a better attacking performance but if we could put chances away (why no Sesko?) then the game is over in the first half. Defensively shambolic but when a keeper throws them in, a midfield profile missing and a general doziness to defending then it's always possible we'll chuck away points.

A GK and a midfield signing means Amorim may have a chance to keep his job but I'm still not fully certain even though the underlying numbers are good and performances of Mbeumo, Cunha have been decent.

Agree. I was more saying when foden was becoming a starter at city Palmer looked the same level even though he barely played.

I'm not surprised he's become a star. Best player in the league for me tbh.

You won't be when Man City batter you after the international break.

True. Without the victory in injury time, City would still be ahead of United in the table despite the bad start. Four points in three matches is not a stat to scare.

Table means nothing until 10 games or preferably 19 games.

No thoughts on the latest grim result? :colondollar:
Still backing Amorim?

Erm. I expected that coming I mean rotating the squad for match fitness and sharpness but typical and classical Onana. Glad we acted upon it by going into the marketing and signing a first choice keeper. Although I don’t understand why he didn’t play his best eleven. And give Sesko the chance to take decisive penalty, we are not even appealing against the fact they fielded an ineligible player even. So where’s the ambition within the club especially knowing it’s a chance to regain the spot within the competition equally and fairly and at silverware…

Looks like Onana will go on loan to a Turkish club.

You have signed a 23 year old (for like 20mil) who basically has had one full season in the Belgian league. If you think he is going to be the saviour.. I'd be a bit concerned.

Reports since have said that Sesko had really bad cramp so didn't take a penalty until required.

Grimsby failed to register a player by 1 minute so he wasn't ineligible on other grounds. Would have looked super petty if Man Utd had tried to appeal it. Everyone would have laughed at the club so much - I think it was the right decision not to appeal it.
The - currently - worst City is still better than United. For someone like me who were grown up with the Ferguson era, it is really sad to see the downfall of this football team.

You're wrong. It is so enjoyable watching Man Utd be this awful. Every time it is delicious :dice:

Not used dice emoji for a while. :dice:

Tbh was expecting 4-0 to city tbh. Annoyingly they'll probably turn up for Chelsea since it's old Trafford.

Sounded like it could have been 5-0+

Man Utd are awful in midfield and Chelsea's strength is the midfield with Enzo, Caicedo and Palmer in that triangle. So I expect you to batter Man Utd too.

Amorim will be fired in Oct/Nov..

Never been a fan of this football team, but the players of this golden era. It is remarkable what happened since the glory period.
