Open uni - access course - new starter

Hey all,
I've been accepted onto an access course to go onto do a degree in mental health nursing!
I'm in work, also a full time mother (hate that word) my daughter is 10 so it's going to be tough work, is there any grants/maintance loans I can get to help towards studies? Or parent allowances etc?
Any advice would be amazing thank you!
You will get the maintenance loan from student finance, parent allowance from student finance too - the max u can get of that is £1821 - this depends on the amount of money you have coming in and has to be paid back. Then there is the NHS training grant that is £5000, you will get £2000 for being a parent and an extra £1000 for doing a "specialist subject". These are grants & do not need to be paid back. This is for university though. Not college.

Thank you for your reply 😊
I completely forgot to add that it's with The Open University, does this still apply?

Ah apologies, with the OU that doesnt apply. Im not sure about the NHS funding. Do you work for the NHS already so you can do placement work through them?
