So I'm going to do computer science this year.

Predicted DDD in level 3 btec which is what the university wants however I am missing the maths grade which is grade 6.

What would happen in the event that I get a grade 5 in maths? Will I just be declined just because of one maths grade?

Best person to email is the university to ask them - they can then tell you how flexible they are and what you might need to do. Best of luck.

GCSE grades are usually non-negotiable. They are there for the basic skills/aptitude needed to successfully complete the degree.
Applying without the right specified GCSE grade is one of the quickest way to get a rejection.

Ask your school if you can retake GCSE Maths during Y13 - you would enter it as another 'pending' qualification' and any offer would include it as an extra condition.
