Keysurf Problem

Whenever I click "Login" at the Keysurf page with my username and password in, it comes up with a thing in yellow saying "Your login was refused."

Anyone know how to fix it? :confused:

It does that sometimes. Sometimes its them cos they're doing upgrades, or its payment day and they've cut you off until the pay goes through. But most of all, its because they're idiots :biggrin:

happened to me this morning. i just kept disconnecting from the network then reconnecting and entering username/password till it worked

I've tried d/c and signing back in loads of times and it still doesn't work. I'm on Aston-General-Access at the moment, where it looks like I'll be staying for the forseeable future if Keysurf stays this ****!

Normally I just refresh when that happens and it works?

Phone them up from the phone in your room. Its a free call and it might help.

The only time I get that problem is if I'm logging in as my flatmate and she's already online :ninja:

If you do that doesn't it suspend the account until you call them? I read the T&C's :p:

Well her account hasn't been suspended so they LIE!

My housemate did that last year and her password got reset so she couldn't log in until she called them and lied about what she'd done.

They also say that your not allowed to use your Keysurf account for more than 24 hours in any one day, so I hope nobody takes those things seriously! :p:

lol!!! sometimes i randomly connect to all unsecure connections that i pick up from my room, hoping that one of them will get the net for me!!

im still hoping that one will come along :p:

NOOO DON'T DO IT!

I think that's possibly how I got the nasty virus on my laptop that allowed someone to get my details and empty my bank accounts.

Don't do it! Just pay for your internet like the rest of us :p:

holy crap! I hope its all been sorted out. ive got a fire wall and antivirus up and running but i wouldnt use an un-secure connection for banking or anything personal

my budget doesnt consider internet usage :frown:

but i guess its ok going 12 floors down to the common room

btw - daltor tower people, we should be getting a tv in the common room soon to replace that oversized flower pot and plant (which i assume is fake but i dont wanna touch it and find out because everyone in the room will think wtf :confused:

)
