Hey you are lucky your department e-mails! The English department seems satisfied with mailing methods from the Renaissance period from the sound of things.

What's wrong with carrier pigeons?:eyeball:

Think mine's going to be carved into a piece of stone.
Checked with my department if my offer is conditional or not (remember, I am the one who got an conditional offer via e-mail and an uncoditional via post one week later).
It seems that my offer really is unconditional, except the fact that I finish my undergrad before october which will be no problem because my last exam is on 3rd July.

I didn't apply for funding but the department asked me if I would like to be funded. They first thought I'm from Ukraine because it's my birth place. As I answered that I'm a german citizen the department told me that I will be considered for full funding of tuition fees. This would be really cool though I'm not really depending on funding.

Actually it has been carved into stone already, but the weight is slowing down the carrier-pigeon (despite the fact that they sent the university's best racing pigeon, Speckled Jim). Life was much easier back when the university still employed carrier pterodactyls. It was really very inconsiderate of them to become extinct.

I think we may have identified the problem, lol! It looks like we may be waiting a bit longer than 20 March! :yep:

Actually the university's internal postal service is called "pigeon-post". It's notoriously slow, though...

I've decided to give up on Oxonian pigeons and other harbingers and apply for accomodation around SOAS. :frown:

Agreed, there's something I can't put my finger on about that part of London - it's different to everywhere else

You heard anything yet?

Any idea when you and Potty are likely to hear? Seems like you've been waiting forever (isn't it four months for you now?)

Meant to be this week sometime :woo:

Soc's been waiting a hell of a lot longer than me because he got the deadline wrong  Mine's been just under 3 months which I'm guessing is normal.

4 months and counting... The week of the 20th is about to begin... :woo:
So how many of you are expected to crack and call the department on the 20th itself?

*raises hand*
